Well, I have my own theory about Shank's true goal, so it didn't dissapoint me.

Also the fact that Buggy wanted to join Shanks crew explane why he was weak all this time. Once Buggy believed in himself, in his own dream he became a Younko now aiming for the Roger's Treasure. Also I feel like he will awake COC for damn sure, so he is joke and not joke in the same time. If he end up Captain of Doffy, Croro, Moria, Mihawk that will be no one expected thing that no one was able to predict.

In kinda respect Oda that he not just use Buggy for gag, but he made Buggy's gag crucial to the whole story. I was always thinking why Oda give Shichibukai title for Buggy and now everything makes perfect sence. And I kinda love how Buggy was the only one who have balls to shout out about his own Dream to became a Pirate King. Crocodile was thinking about Utopia, Mihawk probably about farming...and Buggy just show what real man should dream for.
