Why do people actually think they defeated the seraphim?

Oda made it abundantly clear earlier that this won't happen, at least not right now. It would take an all-out effort from G5 Luffy to defeat one of those perfect terminators.

It's much more likely they simply clapped York and made her overwrite her own earlier commands.

Another confirmation for that is Usopp & Co. being unpetrified. This can only happen by S-Snake herself undoing the petrification, as we learnt from Boa. Not by her getting beaten.

Remember that Robin & Co. were already on their way to the place where they kept the original Vegapunk and York also happened to be there, threatening him.

The next 1-2 chapters will probably be a flashback of what happened during the cutaway from Egghead. What I really want to see is Bonney’s reaction to Kuma’s backstory and her reaction to S-Bear. Seems like S-Bear is perfectly set up to receive Kuma’s memories

Except if the Yonkou also has top CP0 agents and the literal Warlord replacements, then.....welp.

Especially considering the Navy always needs to have the stronger force, to neutralize the opposing side as swiftly as possible and with minimum casualties. They're not here to have a 1:1 Yonkou crew fight that's dumb.

In this case even dumber, only if the Seraphim are back on their side, will this start to make sense from a military perspective. And that's most likely why Saturn is here anyway.
