Why they trynna hard competing Zoro with Luffy when it comes to villains? It's the same kind of mentality which Sanjibros have when they always try to compete Sanji with Zoro.

Kaido was the first Yonko being beaten by Luffy.
Kizaru is now the first Admiral being beaten by Luffy. (If Kizaru gets defeated this arc)
There's no narrative which says how Zoro robs Luffy from achieving one of his goals by defeating those who oppose him becoming Pirate King. Either Warlords, Yonko or Admirals. There's a clear structure and this doesn't change only because Kizaru was about to kill Zoro in SA. Because he also tried so against Luffy in MF, even worse - as you explained already - since Kizaru mocked Luffy during MF.

Now it doesn't mean that Zoro won't clash with Kizaru. This still can happen obviously. But beating Kizaru? Nope. That's not gonna happen, at least not in One Piece - the manga which is centered around the MC since 1997.
