not saying kizaru was going all out but kizaru only got one attack on fluffy and that did not really damage fluffy it just sent him away

Luffy didn't use adcoa everytime against kaido too
He had to reuse it when he did bajran
Meaning he stopped using adcoa when he unlocked adcoc...he was just using ryuo + CoC

So yeah, Luffy doesn't always use adcoa.
He uses basic CoA or ryuo mostly these days

My logic is simple
Either we assume both Luffy and Kizaru are using advanced haki (ID and FS for Luffy and invisible barrier haki/ potentially FS for Kizaru) or we assume Luffy is only using basic COA and Kizaru no haki.
Otherwise it’s too easy to push nasty agenda.

Yes, it means that instead of relying solely on the character's actions, it's important to consider the author's opinion as a reliable source to determine Kaido's strength in the story. As Oda has already mentioned in SBS, Kaido is essentially the strongest.

If Oda were to write Kaido vs. Kizaru, I'm sure he would give the victory to Kaido without even thinking twice; he wouldn't ignore what he has written about the character, and that's how it is.

Kizaru saying so it finaly come out mean he was waiting for that exact moment, this already scream bad news for gear 5 luffy.

on top of that kizaru still has his own awakening as well
