What is interesting is that in the pentagram of Saturn we see the number 5 depicted. And I wonder now, what it indicates. If there is a number 5, does it mean that there exist also the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4? Could Saturn maybe be the 5th of something? Seeing that, if someone counts something, those somethings are thrown into a category and most times regarded as equal: For example, if I were to count the SHP I would start with: 1. Sanji, 2. Chopper, 3. Brook, 4. etc. – this makes 10 SHPs at the end. So, the 5 in this could also have a matching 1, 2, 3 and 4, who are equal to it. Something that is equal to Saturn are the other 4 Gorosei.
What I also wonder is, if there is some kind of order, in which Saturn is number 5, according what attribute are the numbers ordered?: Power, order of joining, etc.?
What is also interesting is, although Oda has now revealed Saturn in all his transformed glory, he has not revealed the name of his DF, yet. Normally he does this, when we see the DF in action in some kind of big, revealing panel. But in the last double spread, in which we see Saturn, I cannot find a little narrator-window, which states the name. I find this very odd and I am starting to think that the name of it might reveal too much to us, yet.
What is the most interesting thing, however is what Saturn looks like: In Japanese folklore there are supernatural beings called Yokai. Here he is depicted like an Ushi-oni: A spider-like demon with a bull-head. Those Yokai come in all shapes and sizes. However, some of them have a few very peculiar features. A Tengu for example is a kind of Yokai, who is a man-like creature with wings and is often times depicted with a beak or long nose. In chapter 1085 we see the outline of all five Gorosei transformed. And one of them does certainly have some kind of bird-like appearance.
In the same panel there is also an outline of a being, which looks like a Kodama. This is a ghost-like yokai, who has two holes for eyes and one for its mouth, just like you can see in Princess Mononoke.
What is an odd phrasing Oda uses is that Saturn mentions, how he can’t remember the last time he was on the surface. What does he mean by “surface”? The normal level below the Red-line also known as the see-level? If so, than this line would have fit more, after he came down the Red-line from Mary Gioise to ride to Egghead. I wonder, what Oda implys by this.
A very important note here: After Kizaru had cut Vegapunk’s way upward, he said: “Oopsie… Almost had you there.” This just means that he did not want to hit the Stellar, but was close. Because, while Kizaru needs to kill all Satellites safe for York, he is not allowed to touch the Stellar, just because if the main body dies, Punk-Records – his brain – dies with him. And it would also be detrimental, to the WG, since it is one of three things that need to be protected at all costs. Oda just leaves this small detail out in hopes we do not notice.
During the last few chapters, I said that I believe that the SHP and Vegapunk seem to act according to a well thought out plan. And this seems to be correct, since in this chapter Luffy even states that his mission is to keep away Kizaru from the others. It is remarkable that Luffy is even able to work according to a plan. That he also exactly knows what to do is impressing.
People, who know me also know that I believe that Lucci was the one, who put together their plan – he is not on the side of the WG, even if it does not seem that way. He currently has his own extended agenda, not even Kaku knows of.
