Then add in the revos attacking their capital. And the Cross Guild putting bounties on the marines. The WG won't even be a threat to the strawhats or Blackbeard EoS.

if you had to pick between Saturn and Kizaru only one of them who MUST GO DOWN this arc, who would you choose?

Kizaru, because it is becoming abundantly clear the WG stand on their own and are their own force/threat.

Akainu and his remaining military will have their time to shine before this, but the Gorosei evidently seem like larger threats to the story.

It also doesnt make sense with all of the fight weve had with Luffy and Kizaru for there not to be a true conclusion to that fight. Nothing is indicating Saturn will directly fight Luffy save for maybe a clash.

Kizaru couldn't do any damn thing to G5......just buying time and at mercy of G5 time limit.
Ever since Kizaru came to this island he's vibe isn't that of trying to beat Luffy or couldn't hope to defeat him either way. It's same vibe as that of Ace and Smoker in Alabasta.
Ofc one hit isn't gonna be enough ( I'd be disappointed with Kizaru tbh) but it look severe for him, Kizaru facial expression can't be scaled whether he got fk up or troll.

Luffy time limit is always a freaking plot device/stall piece of Oda's style ......
Thats why one piece fight is always longer than other shows, we got break everytime on mid battle

I get what you mean but idk Saturn definitely feels like the big villain here, but at the same time Kizaru feels like more of the narrative villain of the arc.

Kizaru has the strongest connection to everyone we’re fighting in the arc so this genuinely feels like his arc to be an antagonist.

Saturn definitely gives off villain vibes here, but I don’t think he’s as connected to the arcs narrative as Kizaru is.

Imo it’s like Caesar and Vergo. Vergo felt like a bigger threat in the arc, but Caesar was the narrative antagonist.

But there is no Law equivalent.

Law outshined Luffy on Punk Hazard; there's no character important or beloved enough for Oda to have them outshine Emperor Luffy.
