The Sanji uncharacteristic thing is just ridiculous…..whenever Luffy and Zoro are in action and Sanjis not , people say all kinds of stupid sh*t about Sanji and start over analyzing things he does. Happened in Wano and now the sh*ts happening again. Criticizing the way he’s saving people, who he’s saving, who he’s not, like bruh…….There’s strong people all over the island.

I am not criticizing him, just pointing out that it was weird that he didn't react AT ALL. Same Sanji who run to Tashigi with "I hear a woman's tear falling". He still did a good thing neutralizing Kaku imo. I for once hope Sanji we saw in the chapter is the real Sanji and we'll get some great Sanji moments soon :)

We will never see everything out of Gear 5, not even at EOS as it's limitless in what it can come up with based on situation. That's not the point here, I'm talking about the tools Luffy has, he has used anything and everything he possibly could given the current situation. He himself is pretty much admitting he is hitting his limit rn, something even Kizaru points out.

We cannot say the same for Kizaru when it comes to taking on Luffy. If we're being completely objective here, Kizaru seems far more casual than Luffy does so far. Maybe it won't end up being the case, but that's definitely the way this fight looks and feels. It helps because we already know Luffy is using all of his mastered haki and his peak form burning through all of his stamina, Kizaru is still kind of an unknown, but the optics undoubtably make Luffy look bad in comparison to Kizaru here.

That's why this moment is so important, the one big attack should have gotten a bigger reaction out of Kizaru. It would atleast be a little rewarding for all the effort Luffy is putting in. Luffy is burning through his stamina and haki and the payoff is what looks like an unfazed reaction from Kizaru.

The point is, we haven't even seen Gear 5 fully used here.

Luffy went to Raisin man mode, then instantly came back up against Kaidou too. He has been drawn using 3 Named attacks on Kizaru so far & we're trying to say that he went all out because the fight was offpaneled & Luffy went raisin mode....

Not once has the narrative pit Luffy as the "underdog" in the fight or Kizaru as a milestone for Luffy to powerup & surpass. It is very clear that it was just Troll Yonko v. Troll Admiral so far & round 1 ended here.

Bajrang Gun is literally pointless against Kizaru
Nobody will argue that Luffy was not serious against Katakuri because he didn't use KKG.

It's not about using Bajrung Gun or not. It is about going "all out".
Luffy going all out is able to fight at a level where Islands get decimated.

Against Katakuri, he used Boundman, we were shown it being utterly useless & then we were introduced to Snakeman.
Which was him being serious.

This argument holds no water.

We rarely saw boundman against Katakuri, cause Kat made it useless. We never saw KKG on WCI, doesn't mean Luffy wasn't going all out. He was getting his shit kicked in, and used all of what he could possibly use.

Right now we know Luffy far more than we do Kizaru, and we know he has used everything available to him in his arsenal. We know he's trying immensely because he is on a strict timelimit.

The prospect of Kizaru having another gear to kick into or even 2, above this, is terrible for Luffy.


Regarding Kaidou tanking all of those hits, Kizaru doesn't tank hits cause he doesn't get tagged, the issue is when he is getting tagged why is he looking like he's taking it better than Kaidou took a red rock without advCoC?

Oda did a terrible job, or maybe Kizaru is just that strong. Because Lucci from a way weaker attack looked like he was halfway passed out mid air.

This might be Oda respecting Kiz, but in doing so he has made Luffy look unimpressive, and the clock is ticking on Kaidou too.
