luffy fans might not like this but the whole point of luffy vs lucci and zoro vs luffy is to conclude zoro~yonko luffy>>>cpo leader lucci>yonko crew.
Tbh Lucci is going to be the first enemy that both Zoro and Luffy fought at their peak so he's the best option to compare them. Depending on how Zoro performs against Lucci we'll know how he fares against Luffy

Lucci didnt event go all out against luffy nor was he realy defeated but oda did show G5 dominating. Unlike against luffy, he will use his trump card against zoro some island buster move. Lucci is above commender level and only someone on the level of yonko & admiral can beat him, by beating him zoro will show he is on that level too and comparable gear 5 luffy.

Basically Yonko/admiral> Cpo Leader> YC1> YC2> so on, lucci is in the gap between a yonko and the commender.

Both Lucci AND Kaku are crazy ngl. They just fought the main characters aka Luffy and Zoro

Yonkos are not stronger than the admirals. I always saw them as an equal force, like with the warlords. having Buggy and Luffy in the ranks proves you can be an yonko and still can beat by either admirals or warlords.

Luffy and Zoro could get captured if kizaru and Saturn doesn’t fall. Idk if has been a month yet, but Hawkins prediction about them having 19% chance of surviving must be during this buster call.

How can Saint Saturn have a huge scar in his face when he always can regenerate himself this chapter from loosing his arm? Did Oda write a plot hole again?
Maybe it was inflicted before he had such a huge level of regeneration. Or it was done with an ability/haki that prevented him from healing properly. Characters having scars despite being able to regenerate isn't new shit

This chapter feels mostly like a build up to something major, Oda is planning for the next chapters.

And with someone giving Luffy food and now Luffy being gone, Oda hints that there is something big, he is still hiding from us (If you want to know more of what it exactly is, Oda is hiding: Lucci is on the side of the SHPs and is going to face the WG soon.).

For this, Oda already sets the stage with Kizaru first. While many readers think that the admiral is probably going to change sides, Kizaru ultimately gives us the counterpart to the actual unrevealed protagonist (alongside the SHPs/Vegapunk) of the arc: Lucci.

Lucci is currently on the SHP’s/Vegapunk’s side and their strategist/chief of staff. His brother is Shaka and while he did follow his heart and decided to help the SHPs/Vegapunk for the reason of saving his family, Kizaru decides to do his duty and kill his friends/family in order to fullfill his mission. This way he acts as the antagonistic counterpat/role in contrast to Lucci’s protagonism. Oda is now building that up and I hope that you decide not to lay much weight into hoping that Kizaru will change sides here.

So, keeping that in mind, we already can deduct, who Oda meant, when he announced a fight between two characters, as the surprising battle between “[…] that person and that person […]” is going to be seen in the next few chapters. And this fight will take place between Kizaru (or Saturn) and Lucci (– a vampirized Lucci, since he was bitten by Stussy and has now become a vampire himself).

So, summing it up: Plot twist ahead.
