If being WGS is about beating other swordsman, then Mihawk never beat Shanks so how did he become WGS?
So WGS is not about beating other swordsman or Shanks isn't swordsman.
Roger wasn't WGS only proves its Skill based title.

He never was, that title belongs to Big Mom.
This is a straight up lie, he fought Big Mom, Luffy and Oden in the arc we saw. We have seen his full flashback and he had to fight strong people to get his reputation and he fought in God Valley so he automatically fought more top tiers there.
And this argument stinks doo doo, who did Mihawk fight? Which top tier did he fight? Which top tier did anybody fight? Most top tiers in One Piece dont fight each other.
We dont know the context of what happened there, its not like Kaido is the type to turn down a fight and he is no coward.
We do know he was alone with King though against an entire Yonko crew.
After running a gauntlet, and he actually was laying the smack down on G5 Luffy more often then not. Only lost the final clash because he was at the end of his rope.

He's the strongest ACoC user alive, tied with Mihawk, that could change depending on the feats the Gorosei get in these upcoming chapters though.
Doesn't need to be the most durable. He maxed out his endurance first. His second best stat is his AP. Then his speed. Then his durability.
Even still, his durability is marvelous.
