My biggest issue with Big Mom is she's always involved in these ridiculous chase sequences where she can't catch/attack anyone physically.
Oda has to rely on Big Mom spamming Devil Fruit powers, because if he actually let her just use her raw physical ability and Napoleon in blade form, she just destroys everyone.
Linlin routinely has no barriers in front of her to just dash up and smash people up, but Oda just has her lumber around and talk shit.
Linlin IS strong, the only thing holding her back IS the plot, and it's the most frustrating thing about her character, BECAUSE KAIDO NEVER DID THAT CRAP, AND ALWAYS JUST WENT FOR THE THROAT.
Maybe it's because Big Mom is supposed to be a kind person, deep down?
But, still. I think Big Mom herself actually capturing a Straw Hat, than having Jinbe stay behind to rescue them, would have made Whole Cake Island end a lot better. Then, you could have had the Straw Hats clash with the Big Mom Pirates in Wano to rescue whoever got kidnapped (probably Chopper honestly, maybe Carrot, since Carrot did not in Wano Act 1/2).
Jinbe is a martial arts master and Lin Lin relies on physical instinct, Jinbe catching her unawares here and there doesn't bother me, but the idea that Kidd was just eating attacks from Linlin just makes them both look bad, considering Kidd got one shot by Shanks.
Makes Linlin look weak and ruins Kidd's accomplishments in Wano.
Linlin should have knocked Kidd out, and Killer should have had to go and help him back up, them sacrifice himself to protect Kidd.
This gives Linlin a legit defeat on a Yonkou Commander, and a knockout of a low-high-tier in Kidd, and also makes Law look better in being able to fend off Linlin, which also gives Teach better stocks.
Like, Kidd is strong, but the idea that full power Big Mom couldn't even knock him out when he was just standing around is absolutely ridiculous, and came back to bite both characters in the ass completely. Making Page One a strong character would have also done a lot better for Big Mom and the Tobi Roppo.

Sure buddy if it wasnt for him Monkey D Condoms Brain filled with nothing but gum would have sailed to the Celestials Hometown cause of Vivi to get annahiliated by the Gorosei/Admirals+ Marines and Holy Knights Zoro prevented that cause the others are blinded by stupidness 
I thought despite Big Mom being cemented as a sloppy fighter lacking potency, once she sacrificed her lifespan to become Bigger Mom she was gonna unleash some of the largest scale attacks we've ever witnessed, could not believe my eyes when I saw Misery....fruitless Law...I repeat..fruitless Law dealt with that sorry ass thing.

Big Mom is one of the characters with the most potential in terms of raw power and abilities in all of One Piece with her titanic strength and durability, her incredibly powerful haki, her devil fruit that is one of the most powerful and versatile in the world with the limits only being the limits of imagination, her Elbaf techniques and her super scream.
Yet all of this crazy potential never left the freezer because Oda didn't have a clue on what to do of Big Mom, how to find a good way to allow the Straw Hats and their allies to escape and survive her, of his sexism, and of his incredibly weird and incomprehensible sense of humor.

Her df is definitely one of the most broken fruits in theory, she’s a walking pack of logias into one. Oda definitely had that Greek titan mythology as an inspiration for her powers.
Just even the simple thought of a homie combined Ikkoku. BM at her strongest can probably pull off a Hakai level of explosion if she uses everything, haki + df. Kaido’s strongest move can destroy Onigashima, I don’t see how Oda can’t give a similar level of aoe to BM? Instead he gave us Misery. You see the clear bias he has for Goofy villains 🤣
Maybe Wit studios will give justice to her fight but then again that’d be years before we get to that point lol.
