So much more could have been done with Kaido's flashback to develop and showcase the creation of his crew and relations with his crewmates, his origins and heritage and ostracisation as an oni, and Xebec's role in his life with the possibility of Xebec having been a father figure to him and their relationship being a darker mirror of Roger and Shanks' relationship.

AT this point seeing all the denial from the fans , One piece will end and they will still expect their fav to go all out.

The fans Always have an excuse to explain why they didnt perform well.
While Kizaru was obviously disturbed by his goal off killing vegapunk there IS no absolute reason for him to hold back against Luffy vice versa.

That Kizaru scene alone might save this entire shitty arc 
The only time Egghead was good (inside of Egghead) was when Kizaru was involved. It took a nosedive the minute Kizaru sat the arc out, and his moment in the closing chapters ended it on a good note.
The SHs are insufferable, anyone still enjoying that group needs to get their heads checked.

- Waiting for Straw hats at the half and Final mark.
- we are not told if the silhouted person is giant or normal sized.
Shanks met Rayleigh, Very high chances he already Gaban as well.
Living under Shanks protection because Roger pirates were actively hunted down and he wasn't strong enough.

And makes sense with the theory that there is a roger pirate in the beginning of grand line (Crocus/Twin capes), middle of grand line (Rayleigh/Sabaody), end of grand line (Gaban/Elbaf)
