IMO strongest vet is between Guernica, Ver-san, Pica and Izo.
I would've included Perospero too, but him being pushed to his limits by sulong Wanda and Carrot is a bad look (for context, Jack solo'd the entire sulong army including musketeers who are individually stronger than Carrot and Wanda).

Pica is a very matchup dependent. You need high DC or AOE or flight to deal with him. Kin'nemon doesn't look like he has a way to deal with Pica.

I didn't even notice that Jack considered even weakened scabbards too much for the Tobiroppo lol. That really just says it all, nobody except maybe WsW should even be in discussion with even Kiku (weakest scabbard).

How does Ver-san compare to other upper vet characters?

- Izo

- Kin'emon
- Kawamatsu
- WsW
- Persopero
- Pica
- Snack (??)

Just for context, I consider entry level commanders to be base Dukes/Cracker/Jack/Shutenmaru. Everyone below that is varying degrees of vet level IMO

I also think you're judging Kin'emon's performance in PH too harshly.
Kin'emon there was confused, in unknown lands, mentally disturbed (lost his partners and Momo). Of course he looked like a chump, when we know his persona is of a dumbass.
This is in stark contrast to him facing Kaido, against whom he had hardened his will, fully prepared and was ready to go all out - he lived for this moment, he was at his best against Kaido.

I've said this a couple times before, but I don't think Ver.go can do much of anything to the Scabbards. If we're to assume they're all on the same level (which they should be, no reason to assume otherwise), then they should be at least YC3 level, since the Dukes could match Jack for 5 days (though they did get to rest and recover while Jack didn't). Jack is portrayed far above even the strongest Tobiroppo in WsW. WsW has both better feats and portrayal than Ve.rgo.
Do the math, Ver.go < WsW < Jack ~ Scabbards
I also don't believe he beats Guernica given that Guernica could beat Drake, Apoo and two Numbers with only Maha helping him.

Nah Loki is a "good" guy. We'll get his real story in flashback soon. I don't think Shamrock is returning as Oda set him up as one of the final contenders for the One piece, so I think he's an endgame character. But I wouldn't mind him returning and getting turned into a meme by Luffy. That man had us enduring rat memes for like 6 years so fuck him lol

Scabbards are all not the same level. The top 4 are commander level and built different.
Ver san vs everyone else is fair game.

Guernica is again debatable.

Ver-san was stronger than out of TS Sanji and Smoker, both of whom are vet level too. Sanji moves so fast that he perception blitz Ovens, a vet. Ver-san is comprable to Sanji in speed, and hits harder too.
He also kept up with Law teleporting around to get his heart, it's mad impressive.
There is no argument to this dude not even being in the conversation for the strongest vets.

I'm just aura scaling but let's compare Kaido's hybrid from to Qilingham's since both are dragon, it's night and day.
Purely from a design standpoint Qilingham is the least intimidating mythical zoan in the series
