Thoughts on the size of this CoC from a mere vessel btw? Bottom left panel shows it reaching the outskirts of the trees.
I don't believe Oda knew how prevalent and important would end up being, and if he did, the Strawhats would've turned up post-skip with more Haki users and/or had more fequent awakenings among the crew.
To me, it ideally would've looked something like this post-skip:
Dressrosa: Usopp, Frank
Whole Cake Island: Nami, Brook
Wano: Zoro, Chopper, Robin
Elbaph: Sanji

Imu was sitting on that Empty Throne trying to hold in their laugh when Vegapunk was out here writting devil fruit fanfiction.
"Muh human imagination makes magic fruits" UH, sure they do gramps!
Imu pulled out a magic book and has so many separate and stupidly OP "fruit" powers all combined into one because Imu did NOT eat a fruit. Devil fruits are not tech. This shit is magic okay? Imu is either a real, straight up deity of some sort, or THE devil. No shot Oda can justify the shit Imu does with a single fruit.
He can make anybody into immortal demons, pull weapons out of magic dimensions, and has a LITERAL demon form for fucks sake.
What more do some clowns in this fandom need before they can accept Imu is not some fruit merchant?
This shit is the real deal. Imu is not only endgame, they are, indisputably, the firm intro to God tier of One Piece.
Imu while possessing GUNKO has a conquerors haki blast bigger than Shanks, Joyboys haki knot, and anything we see from Luffy stacked on top of each other. Elbaph is stupid big.
Imu will have ALL power systems maxed the fuck out. Magic, haki, does not matter after 800 years plus MINIMUM of ruling the planet?`
Mark my goddamn words, Mu will show us the PEAK of what One Piece is gonna ever deliver in terms of raw power. They will end this series as Top 1 of all time easy. EOS Luffy will never 1v1 Mu and win.
EOS Luffy will need Imu to have gone through a Kaido style gauntlet on steroids, a three generational combo attack where Dragon, Garp and Luffy team up, and probably some temporary power up via the mother flame to beat them at this rate.
Peak chapter. Surpassed even my stellar high expectations. Gunko possessed Imu being able to just flip people of Dorry and Brogys caliber of power into being their demon servants like that is straight up stupid in terms of its implications. They are not even brainless or anything. Them giants can talk, probably use haki just fine etc
No wonder Imu carried the 20 Kinds and Queens to victory solo against Joybos all star team in the void century.
