I just wonder what that turn of events means. Marijoa ablaze, Imu stepping in and trying to conquer Elbaf, Imu as the arc boss may as well have started, which is before Blackbeard. Unless you think after these events, Blackbeard will be thrown in as an intermediate step. I would rather assume that it will be a battle royale of some sort, with Blackbeard invading Marijoa.

Yeah I'm a little skeptical of Kuro and especially Arlong now but I have faint hope since Gin and Krieg miraculously reappeared too.

The only argument I've seen that kinda makes sense is just how odd the fights would look

The giants were already absolutely massive compared to any human character

Now they're 5-6 times bigger (Oda sucks at perspective so maybe not actually that big)

It would look like an ant vs a human

I mean they’re the same size as the numbers in Onigashima and the sizing didn’t look to weird there.
