The difference is that Kaido would take it and keep fighting while this attack finished King off.
I highly doubt King can even take Totsuka Paradise or whatever Lolden's attack was named.
He almost fell from Asura, lol. No way he would endure something way more amped up.
Zoro's opponents get no endurance feats because you cannot endure his attacks, it is that simple.
Of course he can take Oden's attack, Kaido took it and King is more durable means it would do even less damage.

Yes but can you post a time any other gorosei transformed like this? We’ve seen multiple transformations or why Sanjis fire was able to somehow immolate Nusjuros head until we see the bare bones?

2 heads. One on fire. One biting Sanji.

It’s all there on panel
ARE YOU NOT SEEING HIM TRANSFORM HIS HUMAN HEAD INTO THE HORSE ONE IN MY PANEL??

I know this is passé by now, but God damn, I hate when Oda brings up something cool and then drops it for dozens of chapters…knew there was no chance we’d get more on Gunko’s connection to Brook, so now we’ll have to wait 15 years to find out he used to be a Holy Knight :Shadow_Unimpressed:
That'd be cool as hell if he was a former Holy Knight, though the whole contract thing contradicts that

So anyway I watched the film Sicario (2015) this weekend, and I swear I have been thinking about this movie constantly ever since. In my opinion the most underrated movie I have ever seen in my life.

I typically don’t enjoy generic “police vs cartel” movies or whatever, there are like 50,000 of these movies and they all just blend together in my mind, but holy shit Sicario was just on a level of its own, I have obsessed about it for 4 days.

The film starts with the FBI raiding a drug house in Arizona, they successfully raid the house but they find human corpses in the walls and a huge bomb detonated in the back yard etc…this is all on American soil and the incident makes national news and all that.

The main character is like some new FBI hot shot captain or whatever, and she is immediately determined to bring the men responsible for this atrocity to justice.

We find out that this drug house belongs to the Cartel and the FBI chick immediately gets recruited to this task force that’s going to go after the Cartel. As the film goes on, FBI chick discovers that she has actually been recruited by the CIA without knowing it for them to go after the Cartel.

Anyway, the whole movie is about FBI chick finding out that she is actually completely powerless to bring about any change in this battle, and she discovers that the people working for the CIA are just as monstrous and evil as the Cartel themselves, they torture, they employ Cartel hitmen, etc... We also find out that the only reason the CIA wanted her was because it is illegal for the CIA to operate on U.S. soil unless they are “working with” the FBI and they actually didn’t care about her at all and just wanted an FBI teammate so they didn’t get in legal trouble etc. We also find out that the CIA themselves were the ones who taught the Cartel all of the brutal guerilla warfare shit they do, etc…

The whole film is about this chick just realizing that she doesn’t have or want what it takes to make a difference in such a dark war fought by evil people, and the whole thing is just so brilliant.

The thesis of this post is that One Piece is trash and nobody gives a fuck about this shitty ass manga, have any of the rest of you seen the Film Sicario and if so what did you think?

Certainly puts a damper on that theory, yeah, but there could easily be some PIS-esque explanation for how he got out without disintegrating :luuh:
It's likely related to his fruit, and I bet he's also gonna help boot Imu out of Gunko using his fruit. Maybe the latter requires him to awaken his fruit.

Bruh, alright, he almost fell from this attack when he fought against Yamato and had an all out battle against Luffy afterwards lol.
Not sure if you understand my point...
He almost fell, not because he was pushed, like in the case of Luffy's attacks but because it was close to too much to endure in that moment.
His HP bar almost hit 0, just because he recovered doesn't change anything.

Now replace Asura with something way more powerful and you should figure out the result.
Against Zoro, one cannot flex endurance stat, it has always been like that.

The reason why he had a fight with Yamato and Luffy is because they are damage accumulators, they kept chipping away on his stamina, bit by bit, that is not what Zoro does. If your durability isn't high enough to reduce damage down to tolerable levels, you can forget endurance stat. And since someone even tougher than Kaido couldn't reduce DD's damage down to tolerable levels, Kaido is doomed.
