Ngl, while many have already called it before, BB being Rocks' son feels anticlimactic. It's not like it doesn't make sense or anything, it just feels off---probably because some of us subconsciously wanted BB to be unrelated to the top guns.

Bb (darkness) vs Ace (fire - light)

Bb (darkness) vs Nika (Sun god - light)


Bb (darkness) vs shanks (child of destiny - hope or light)


So, BB vs actual light kiz is possible

I feel like Oda has planned to elevate Nika's status above common light, as God of the Sun destined to fight the highest darkness in the world represented by Imu and his power, whereas Blackbeard seems to have become more minor, coming out of this with diminished hype.

If I was Erkan I would refrain from showing up again.

All this past hype for Roger, meanwhile Roger never defeated Prime WhiteMebeard, never defeated Garp, also needed Garp's help to fight Rocks in a two vs 1.

Meanwhile Rocks defeated/killed an Admiral, fought both Roger and Garp at the same time, some his subordinates made huge names for themselves.

Also Rocks's son Blackbeard>>>>Roger's son Ace.
