I believe it's inevitable that Shanks dunked on Kaido extra hard. Rocks, Whitebeard and Roger must've beaten or at least dominated Kaido so hard at least once in his youth to be put in the silhouette. Oden was on the verge of defeating him.

Had Shanks only pulled a BM where they split the sky and have a couple irrelevant clashes I don't think he would've made it into the silhouette.

Rocks D Xebec is exactly as he's been portrayed in the stories and dialogues from other characters. Even Oda's silhouette was on point............

I think Luffy has a mix of Xebec and Roger, but with more closely to Roger.

While BB has the same, but with more closely to Xebec

I'm speaking about the Japanese version too and that's an error, WSS and Grandmaster Swordsman are 2 different titles..
When Mihawk will lose the WSS title, he will still remain a Grandmaster Swordsman(Daikengou)..

The WSS is a Daikengou, but a Daikengou isn't necessarily the WSS..

Mihawk's introductory box literally says, Sekai Saikyou no Kenshi, World Strongest Swordsman..

WSS is wrong translation for English. Thats what I said, you don't say strongest marksman, you say greatest marksman, same for swordsmanship.

So Dai Kengou is the first title they used in the manga, there aren't 3 different titles, all 3 are the same title. They never even once said someone said ''I am dai kengou and also saiko kenshi also sekai ichi no kengo'', they also say ''sekai ichi no kengo'' as well, again same WGS title, there aren't 3 different titles, its the same title with different names. Grandmaster swordsman = greatest swordsman, and when they say saiko no kenshi, it also mean greatest swordsman, because in English you say greatest not strongest for proficients like marksmanship or swordsmanship.

Characters who are bestowed such portrayal have more relevance in the plot from narrative perspective.

Mihawk is an isolated strength house who exists just for Zoro's dream which is not even tied with the central lore of one piece.

He will be the strongest swordsman (not strongest character) for Zoro's dream and that's all.

Strongest character talk is just headcannon, leeching and wishful thinking
