Said this in the Gorosei matchup threads but as opposed to the other Gorosei, Garling feels like a character that was created for a specific propose and not simply for the purpose of being just a strong opponent for one of Luffy's allies or subordinates to defeat hence why I've always felt that it only really makes sense for him to fall to either Luffy or Teach narratively. Plus the fact that he's the warrior god of defense gives off the feeling that he'd be at the forefront if Marijoea is ever attacked. So what are the chances that Garling is currently facing off against whoever is attacking Marijoea (i.e. potentially Blackbeard?)

Keep in mind that Oda loves his parallels.
Teach is Rocks parallel so chances are that similar to Rocks killing an admiral Teach also parallels that feat and kills someone in a similar position. Moreoever Garling is connected to God Valley and apparently scared WB so there is very interesting plot line there that Oda could end up exploring.

Just food for thought.

Fruitless Teach might already have been a top tier considering his daddy ngl. We might have to reconsider Ace's strenght. We know a Shanks that could already use aCOC got scarred by fruitless Teach.
BB's careless and overconfident behavior makes him appear weaker than he is. Like against Magellan he wouldnt have gotten poisoned if he used his fruit from the get-go to cancel Magellan's ability
I'm genuinely moved. What’s always been obvious is finally becoming common knowledge.
Now how much more do you all need before you recognize and accept Teach as the final villain?

So how is Teach going to have a crew that surpasses that of his dad? He steals Imu's power and boost them with it ?
Maybe 2-4 of them have hiding CoC that Oda is not showing or they also unlocking CoC after fighting Garp. If BB wants to challenge the God Knights, all of them need CoC but seems impossible because we never seen a whole crew have them before. Or maybe Yami Yami no Mi can disable them?
