I know Rocks is getting a lot of wank atm so recency bias is prolly gonna kick in but I’m still not convinced he was stronger than Roger.

There’s just fundamental things in the story that don’t really corroborate that, the first being Kaido’s comment on Roger being top 1 of his era (at least as far as the pirates/marines are concerned) and the second being Sengoku highlighting the rivalry btw Rocks & Roger stating that Rocks was prolly Roger’s first real enemy & the strongest he ever faced. Statement somewhat implies that Roger was able to overcome the freak of nature that was Rocks imo

Roger >= Rocks is logical take. All rocks hype will only add to roger's hype when he beats rocks. People think oda will have roger 2v1 one rocks with garp which is nonsensical.
