I don't get your point. Physical and romantic intimacy is a basic human need. And looks will play a significant part in how easy or hard your access to it will be.
I doubt you’ll hold that same belief by the time you’re like 40 and have a family though. Values change. We’ll all get ugly at one point, and accept it. Worrying about desirability is most relevant at twenties to thirties or if you got fixated on it.
I still believe that Xebec is really strong and invaded there without caring about anything, because he wouldn't be captured because he was VERY STRONG.

I think that's a myth. It has nothing to do with values. You can have good moral values and still value physical and romantic intimacy, e.g. with your wife. Obivously nothing lasts forever, but I don't get this argument. Why having friends and social interaction at all? Why having a family? If you'll die anyways. It's a nihilistic point of view that doesn't hold up. Yeah, in my 70s and 80s I probably won't care about it, doesn't mean I can't care about it in my youth.
Yeah, but nothing this chap is making Imu look good, tbh even if he does kill Xebec later. And his presence on the island is currently worse then Vergo.
Of course I think sword skills matter as well but if they aren’t enhanced with haki you still lose to someone with sloppy technique but with greater haki. That’s why the strongest swordsman need to be the whole package
