The only one who can beat me is me
Who will fight Garling or Shamrock? Its almost like a destiny for Shanks to fight one of them.

Its the same thing. Why would Oda talk about his swordsmanship if he isn't a swordsman? You wont find anything similar for Big Mom/Kizaru.
It's a major difference for Shanks. We know Shanks is a swordsman, the argument is that Shanks' style is different enough that he can be a weaker swordsman but not a weaker combatant overall. If Xebec's sluggish blunt style is considered a legit form of swordsmanship then it gets extremely hard to argue Shanks is exempt from this. Maybe not impossible but certainly makes his case more difficult than it already is.

As for BM I thought her attack was referenced as swordsmanship before, found it but it's not directly from the manga.

If its not from the manga, don't post it. What happened to you? You didn't even believe databook lmao.

Yeah, I am not going into those debates. Oda will just find a way to make things ambiguous or make both Mihawk and Shanks look good.

Dragon/Sabo, who are actually built up as challenging the CD's lol
You think Dragon/Sabo are more fitting opponent of Garling/Shamrock than Shanks? You don't believe that.

People also pretend shockwaves are superior to slashes. Last time I checked, it wasn't a shockwave that left a large scar on Kaido's body, and Oden wasn't even the peak.

Mihawk will certainly be able to use shockwaves when its appropriate, but generally speaking, slashes are more lethal to begin with.

Yes, because Shanks wants to nerf himself by using a weapon (a sword) for over a 1000 chapters instead of his own "fighting style" that's massively stronger that he hasnt shown before. His nerfed fighting style, his swordsmaship puts him on par with the yonkos.

Any other manga, this wouldn't be a debate, but I guess Shanks fans can't read a picture book.
I'm not a Shanks fan.
:josad:

I just don't want to set us up bro.

Shockwave supremacy, the strongest beings use it (WB, Law, Rocks, Sengoku, Garp). Oden would get overpowered in a clash so his lethality don’t matter.
