The truth is, I expected more from Dragon — he was disappointing in this chapter. He’s 17 and Kaido is 21, so he’s 4 years younger than Kaido, but we saw that Kaido at 17 could tear an island to pieces while fighting Xebec, was strong enough that Xebec couldn’t beat him with a single shot, and even took an ACOA attack from Xebec without any problem.


Dragon got pierced by a laser and that’s it — he was shocked the whole time. Of course, unlike Kaido, who grew up on battlefields and became the ultimate soldier of a nation that relied on war to survive, someone familiar with death and blood, Dragon wasn’t that guy at this age. He was nervous and shocked the entire time, but clearly there’s no comparison between 17-year-old Kaido and 17-year-old Dragon.

17 year old Luffy was also weaker than Smoker and 99% of the VA
Dragon got smacked by a HK, so it’s not soo bad
I bet he grew a lot after this accident and unlocked his true potential

2. Use it on things outside of yourself aka your weapon. External
3. Use it not just outside of your but within them. Internal

Luffy like Roger and Rayleigh have the most advanced form of armament aka internal. Mainly focused on bypassing durability. It also likely means Roger and Rayleigh can coat the inside and outside of their blades making them even tougher

Zoro like Oden focus on that second level of armament instead and with their mastery of enma push the external use to their limits

This man just said that members of the historically feared giant warrior pirates, who started their Journey over a century ago, are random fodders who havent "seen the world" and are just naive enough to believe Gaban, a proeminent member from the Pirate King's crew.
