BUT at the same time The Strawhats are not Legends yet, just because the Prime Roger Pirates beat them often doesn’t mean Strawhats will. You also have IMU here taking over Gunko’s body . So there’s a lot of variables here to consider.

No, Nik. You are the one that is simply wrong and I'm the only one that has actually provided evidence to back it up. 男 is used for gender in Japanese the same way "male" and "female" are used in English. It is not equivalent to "human" or "mankind" as you tried so erroneously to claim.
If Oda's intent was to hype Whitebeard above the entire population, he'd use titles like "世界最強の人間" (World's Strongest Human), "世界最強の人" (World's Strongest Person). But instead he used "世界最強の男" (World's Strongest Male). You're assuming intent from absolutely nothing even when the words the author used entirely disagree. And besides, the strongest characters in One Piece are all objectively men, Whitebeard's title putting him above them automatically includes women indirectly.
