What even is this, Fantasia World?

Coby has shown zero feats that would even put him in the neighborhood of "veteran level". Right now it's a really safe bet to assume he would get massacred by guys like Oven. To even assume he is pre-skip Sanji/Zoro level is a major stretch (despite not being completely ridiculous).

If you really want to believe in him being "top veteran level", then congratulations, you just put Coby on the same level as current Sanji/Zoro. All that while he was neg-diffed by the latter pre-skip, despite already knowing rokushiki and the others training like maniacs during the timeskip, too.

For me Only Luffy was clearly above Coby after TS. Zoro and Sanji may be above Him after TS , dont know. Currently RS sanji and Enma zoro are clearly above Coby. The rest of strawhats isnt even strong as him

Coby has virtually shown zero impressive feats so far. Using only a bit of common sense would tell you that even "PH Smoker" claps him.
This isn't Fairy Tale, where a completely random character suddenly grows faster than the main protagonist.

I guess ur claim is just as Nonsensical as mine is. U pronounce a character to be weak despite the fact he has almost zero feats.

Also, Coby da pinkpimp has been promoted from the last time we saw him.
This does indeed suggest he has amazing growth rate.

The shichibukai fucked as soon as vegapunks creation goes after they ass including mihawk.

And while the wg got something to replace them abolishing that system is still gonna bite them back bad.

Cause if they dont destroy the shichibukai right now that means they're free to seek help and just fight back.

Even if vegapunk has something somehow equal in strength to the shichibukai. The current + the past shichibukai being free to go against the world government is scary.

Anything you come up with is just completely random headcanon! I could easily claim that Franky no-diffs him and it wouldn't be wrong per-se, since we simply know nothing about Coby's current capabilities.

If we use common sense, we can conclude how strong he might be and it's far from the level you are expecting. He was a pathetic weakling pre-skip and even with Luffy's insane growth rate (which he surely didn't top) he would barely reach the level of pre-skip Zoro/Sanji given his basis from two years ago.

Marineford reshaped Drake's thinking and he decided to continue on that path of justice.

I think SWORD is led by Kuzan. Smoker and Tashigi could be members along side Koby and Drake.

Law could be an undercover agent as well, due to the influence of Corazon. It could be why Drake released him.

The timeline was very strange this chapter

- Oda starts by saying it's has been a week since reverie ended(so 14 days after the start of reverie)

- Then the news are spreading when he went back on time, probably shortly after the end of reverie and revelations(Shichibukai abolution, whatever happened with Sabo, …)

But when Coby is on sea attempting to chase Hancock, he comes back to present

And based on the dialogue he is having with Coby(Kaido - Big Mom alliance, no reports about Luffy's breakout from Udon)

I assume Oda did this to match to the current storyline with Wano, but the thing is the Kaido - Big Mom alliance happened few days back from the Wano timeline, so it's probably anywhere between that announcement and Luffy breaking free from Udon.

If it is before Luffy breaking free, it would suggest the current timeline is in the past comparatively to Wano's timeline and thus the events we see right now already happened with the results being unknown, maybe Oda trying to show this results next chapters while matching with Wano's timeline.

If it's after Luffy's breakout, it'd mean the timelines are matched now, but would also imply that Orochi didn't tell Kaido and his men about the fake Udon reports

Would be particularily interested either way in how the official viz translation will translate this chapter

Don't try to change the subject.
Of course he is one-shot material to Luffy. It's about his capabilities compared to other characters and you're severely underestimating and disrespecting guys like Smoker, Hancock or the veterans if you think it's realistic to assume Coby is even close to their level now.

Even if we leave aside the fact that Hancock no-diffed Pacifistas and a VA + his entire crew pre-skip, what do you even think would happen if Coby tried to attack her?
Even women and animals can't hold back their excitement in front of her. Coby is a healthy male as far as I can tell. He would be hard as a rock in a split second ... and not in the good way.

Pretty sure it be to get along. Since both are very acquainted with Luffy, they become secret allies and Coby make a 'false report' about her. I can't see Hancock being beaten for how much Oda build her up.
