They were with him, until it was too dangerous for them to follow, while Oden went to the end of the Grand Line. He had Roger's/Whitebeard's protection. In WANO, they were ALL with him.

Kaido and Orochi came and took Wano over within a matter of 1 day, and these dudes are talking about Koshiro "hearing about Kaido" and coming over there.
