I'm only stating facts. Whether Kaido became stronger or not during the last 20years so far is baseless since it's not mentioned anywhere in the manga
Everyone has a peak of strength, and when he reaches that peak of strength, he stops growing, and with age, and sickness, he can even grow weaker. We just don't know when Kaido reached his peak of strength yet
And considering Kaido is from a older generation than Shanks who was already a yonko 6years ago, it makes it debatable

In OP, You stop growing when you lose ambition/retire/get sick/grow old. There is no limit if you aren't so old nor retired or sick
When Sengoku says currently kaido is way stronger since his rookie days
It means he is stronger than he was 10 20 30 years ago. There is no mention of Kaido stagnating.
We know Kaido isn't Yonko anyway here, unless you bring where Kaido is named Yonko 20 years ago. Or had WSC and 1 vs 1 hype.
his generation is same with admirals... mid gen
We Know this Kaido doesn't like dying! Doesn't seek fair fights! Doesn't have his WSC and 1 vs 1 hype.
He isn't even brought up as near invincible yet!
