In terms of mirrored paneling, sure, but Kaido called him his son and he's been referred to as "young". They have dissimilar hairstyles (he does not have Oden's trademark "oden" haircut), Yamato is clearly "slimmer", and also his body way more.


What this most likely is, is a mirroring in terms of how similar they are in character. To me it looks like Yamato has wanted to leave Wano for a very long time.

Yamato also seems to use a club like Kaido, not swords.
