Legends bleed, we've seen the likes of Akainu, Whitebeard, Garp bleed before, Kaido's no different, but the amount of effort they had to put in just to pierce makes his defense crazy, no wonder G4 didn't do a thing, Perhaps Kaido's skin/scales act as a shock absorbing armor, it's crazy to imagine how tough it would be if he also used haki to defend himself.

Mihawk casually blitzes him in a crowd of 1000s and then Luffy is too slow to even attack Mihawk at the risk of getting his arm cut off.
This is G2 which should be no slower than boundman (boundman is overrated as fuck at speed) where as Mihawk was just scratching his ass in MF while Kaido was in full rage.
Lol at trying to boost a motherfucker who got stabbed by, weapons knocked by literal fodders. While Vista who is stronger than all scabbards fail to even tag Mihawk who is literally ignoring him and thinking about Luffy.
If Kaido ignored Vista like that, he'd give him another permanent scar and yet another PTSD.

Pre skip G2 is nothing compared post skip G2 (dodging Gastanet from inside the center of the explosion) which is nothing to boundman that speedblitzed Doflamingo.

Kaido narrating how the retainers managed to survive all the way from 20 years through Punk Hazard, Dressrosa to Wano was amazing, it shows you how Kaido was the overarching antagonist of the entire post timeskip narratively, how Oda planned the entire New World half before starting it. All that shit was for this majestic moment. At least that's one good aspect OP hasn't ruined, storytelling.
