We all know Oda inconsistency with bleeding and bruises.

Back in drum island Zoro literally froze but didn't catch a cold while Sanji had to be carried up the mountain when he passed out from hepatitis.

And the vast majority in this forum is going to answer that he was the only one who sneezed in the crew so Zoro is the VC and twice as strong as Sanji

There are a lot of them so fighting them all at once might be a little trickier, also some of them could be stronger than the others. Granted it wouldn't be exactly the most thrilling scenario but I can't think of a better option, the Tobi Roppo seem way ouf of their league.

It's not like Zoro fought a strong swordsman or a warlord (Kuma) also.

It's not like Sanji took a beating (and a stab) to save Nami while Zoro wasn't even touched by Zombie Ryuma.
I didn't know Zoro was able to forecast the future, he knew he would have fought Kuma after Oars and decided to be defeated for a while
