The scabbards clearly don't care. They just like Kin'emon. He can be weaker (as he is) and they still let him be leader.

I've always found WB getting damage arguments kinda weird cuz like, he didn't have 200+ slashes on him or 150+ bullet holes. So you can infer that most of that probably didn't actually hurt him.
