Not as knowladgeable as the average fanboy though 
Pretty sure the scabbards are all set up for different strengths.
- Kin: Defense (fire cutting)
- Neko/Inu: Offense
- Izo: Ranged
- Kawamatsu/Raizo: Agility
Denjiro/Kiku/Asura are relatively unknown but I assume some form of offense/agility between them.
Excited for this battle against Kaido. Hopefully the remaining chapters for Act 3 gives us some sick panels with the scabbards finally showing off their abilities. I feel like we really only know the extent of Inu/Neko's capability as of this chapter.
Then Kaido probably wipes the floor with them and/or Jack comes back as a hybrid when things get worse. Exciting.

How do people forget that Kinemon has already cut an explosion of this magnitude to pieces?
Kinemon might not be an overall powerful fighter, but the skill of his fire cutting ability is off the charts, and we've known this since Punk Hazard. Stop twisting the narrative to downplay Kaido.

Kaido's DF amped top tier flame should have greater intensity and durability than a regular flame. It pretty much because its a concentrate flame that drilled a hole in the hill on which Oden's castle is so Kinnemon physically survived that force and still cut the fire rather than getting blown away.

He did something that a powerful swordsman without the ability to cut fire could not handle.
Oden has no ability to cut fire, he received a much lesser breath of heat, the feat of kinemon is incredible. I have to congratulate you, the man who is about to be killed
