It's a simple matter of AP and Oda is ignoring it with the scabbards.

Why should i imply that? If the Scabbards wouldnt use Ryo, they couldnt hurt Kaido. But at the same time i am pretty sure that someone like Roger could have hurt Kaido even without Ryo. Ryo is just like a weapon to make it obviously easier.

I didn't powerscale him before. I refrained from that because he hadn't shown anything concrete. However, I placed him above pre suit Sanji because of his counter. I placed him below Zoro because of the Enma showing.
Right now I still don't think it is the right time. We still need to see what his fruit ability will do in actual battle.

I place him definitely higher than pre-suit Sanji and ALL veterans. He's more comparable to Inu and Neko but I don't know how far he's behind them due to their 20yo training.

It's difficult to powerscale Kinemon, that's why I put him at the YC range for now with high lethality.

Most of the fight was off screen and just because you know Ryou doesn't actually make you a top tier from the get go. Ryuo + plus the gigantic power leap that sulong provides + Oden's will they have been carrying for over 20 years

Because you think that Luffy didnt damage Kaido because he Couldnt use Advanced Haki and scabbards can because They have Advanced Haki.

So you are implying that without this Haki you can't hurt Kaido which means that Kaido is inmune to that type of damage, then Goku or Superman cant hurt him.
