i dont get it, why the reddit translator automatically assumed the sentence is in plural? Besides in this context, they talked about preparing maximum effort while heading upstairs towards Kaido. It is unlikely they meant it as Beast Pirates as a whole, or even counting Big Mom who clearly wasnt their target atm nor they know/care if she was anywhere near the top of the dome. Their focus was on Kaido.

I think it's worth pointing out that Kaido has directly referenced being jealous of WB and Roger more than any other primary antagonist. His constant reference to them I think is a nod from Oda that he's one of their peers.
This chapter strongly supports:
Kaido >= Big Mom
Kaido > Shanks
Kaido > Mihawk
Kaido > Blackbeard
Kaido > Kuzan (assuming he is a pirate and has a bounty).

If character is stronger than Kaido that character literally has to be top 1.
