Im amazed how is no one pointing out the character development Sanji demonstrated this chapter?
Went there to save a woman who was seemingly being raped
Had no heart eyes or nosebleeds or any of the pervy thoughts and expressions
Mentioned he has no time which means he still focusing in the mission of going with Luffy to the rooftop

I swear this fandom only looks at fighting and powerscaling and miss looking at these kinds of writing Oda is trying show about his characters

what if viz says behead or slay or kill ?
Well if Viz says just "cut" then they are stuck between Queen's speech who said 2nd/3rd and didn't refer to sanji because they argued about that for 30 pages that Viz is shit and makes mistake and this one XDD! How ironic is this situation :suresure:

In any case Stephen Paul is not the only one who knows japanese, so whatever he says people can check by themselves.
Zoro said he wants "to cut down", "kill", "slash", "behead" Kaido. Take it or leave it!

He was bruised has heart eyes and a nosebleed

The Zoro panel was epic. Spoilers overplayed it a bit, as he struck Apoo when Apoo wasn’t looking, but the actual panel composition was amazing. The Shishi Sonson is my favorite move of Zoro’s, and I love whenever he uses it. Also, a bit of an acknowledgement that he won’t be fighting Kaido, as King and Queen are there (Queen’s faces were funny in this chapter, btw). That role (fighting Kaido) is for Luffy and the other captains, and Marco. That’s it. And speaking of Marco, he finally met up with the crew! Can’t wait to see how he interacts with them! Should be excellent, especially because he’s going to be around for a while (and hopefully joins them after Luffy beats Blackbeard and avenges Ace and Whitebeard). Also, Tama had one line, but it was a pretty cute one and I chuckled.

And then Kaido...to lift an island in the sky like it’s nothing. The hype! More evidence of the superiority of the Yonko. Nobody touches them except Prime Roger and Prime Garp. Luffy’s got his work cut out for him.

Great chapter, can’t wait for the next one.

Maybe because it’s not character development? He ran off to save a woman from something that he has no problem doing himself. He literally engaged in it earlier in Wano. And by the way, maybe you missed it, but that scene ended with him being a lusty perv.

Zoro: I have no time to waste with you stupid commanders, I've come here to kill Kaido
haters: Zoro vs calamity confirmed, Zoro not fighing Kaido.

You see, don't get me wrong but you are quite famous everywhere of blindly hating this character so much we already assume anything you say about him will be tremendously biased and not correct :sanmoji:

This chapter should have clearly showed how he was genuinely terrified when he thought a woman was being raped and assaulted, it doesn't need a brainer to understand how he views it and it aligns perfectly with his moral codes :catsure:

zoro is top strawhat for me any day. chopper is top doc. and yeah queen needs to be cut down big time and wow zoro, defeating kaido? go to it. as for you sanji, be mr prince and be a badass like you used to be please. I used to think you was cool and funny but not now so, get a grip and be a badass again then perhaps we fans would care. but yeah. zoro fans rejoice. he showed queen who is boss. good chapter!

If sanji really care about women, why he abandon nami, he knows usopp is weak this is yonko territory, if nami with zoro or franky its fine, but usopp?, come on .....

I call it inconsistent

Oda needs Sanji for something else that why he got remove from climbing up with Luffy&Jinbei
Sanji part is not that bad i dont know why some of you guys are mad
I interested were is this plot line is going
:endthis:
Also BlackMaria know a lot of what is going on right now with Kaido
Which i find very intriguing
:shocking:
Yeah but the thing is , It Got Turned Into a Joke , he is Being Held Down By A Bunch of Gifters , Logically He Should Be Able To escape easily But Nah.... ,Ofc so another Oda Classic

Zoro Implied The Same From The Looks Of it ? Didnt he say something Along the Lines Of Chopper Handling this Floor or Something ?

Because Sanji and Zoro are not the same........ just because Zoro can do something doesn't mean sanji can, that's not how the story is written. Their not gonna react to situations the same.
Real expert analysis here - two different characters are not the same. Good to see that Sanji fans have finally mastered basic cognitive skills, it’s about damn time. Even though they are not the same person - which, again, really, bravo on pointing that out to me - they’re in the same life or death scenario of facing two Yonkos and their underlings at the same time. Sanji running off is fine and all, but the fact that he couldn’t reassess the situation when he got there and rushed recklessly into a dangerous trap without thinking is the kind of bush league shit that needs to stop in the middle of the most consequential war of these characters’ lives. He doesn’t get a pass for becoming a POW just because he had good intentions; his moral compass just pointed him in the direction of the enemy, and he didn’t consider any consequences before jumping.

Lol at me apparently hating Zoro. Not being a mindless fanboy doesn’t mean I hate him. Sanji also once said that he’d be the most fearsome opponent of the World Government and cause them the most trouble on the Straw Hat crew, do you take that at face value, or do you actually look at circumstance and consider the story?

No, I’m quite famous for telling the truth and getting fanboys cry over it. But it’s funny that you accuse me of “blindly hating” Sanji and that everything I say about him “will be tremendously biased and not correct,” and then talk about his actions in this chapter aligning with his moral codes, while ignoring that Sanji has already done things, in this arc alone, that rise to the level of the thing he was trying to prevent in this chapter. But it doesn’t “need a brainer” to understand that, it just takes not being a fanboy.
