World's Strongest Swordsman
Kyros didn't kill freaking Diamante, Spandam is perfectly fine after Robin broke his spine, Pound is well and alive in spite of facing Oven... So why should I expect Oda writing Zoro killing Kaido if he isn't even able to do so with a husband and father that spent ten years forgotten as a toy and just defeated the man who killed the love of his life?

Everybody seem to fight people they're stronger than, not only Zoro, considering that they rarely lose consciousness after winning and can even keep fighting after that. Your train of thought here holds no weight regarding my point.
None of them are dragons that need to be slain above the flower capital

I dont agree with you , lets wait and see what happens
You don't agree with all three point? That Sanji and Jimbei simply said theyare escorting Luffy and that Oda is making it a point to show Zoro's wanting to go to the roof more that Sanji and Jimbei and that the power scaling works better if Zoro fight kaido first.

You don't agree with ANY OF THIS? You realise some of this isn't even opinins. Its just facts in the story

Are you disputing that Zoro was stronger than all those people he fought? Should we go one by one?
I'm disputting the weight yo give to that with regard to Zoro even though it can be applied to most characters. It's not as valid as an argument as you seem to think, especially not as a point to raise Zoro's power level apart from the tier of the guys he's paired with on a regular basis.

I'm not, but even if I did it would be irrelevant.
We are talking about Zoro's general power leel right? how can his literal benchmark not be relevant?

Like if youwere the guy who thought Mihawk is YC4, you don't think that would affect your opinn on how strong Zoro has been the entire post time skip up to now and who he'll fight this arc and everything.

You really don't see how these things would connect? hehehe

So? Diamante was a sociopathic murderer who killed Kyros's wife, terrified the country and hurt Rebecca; he was at the mercy of Kyros and yet he's alive and well. That holds quite more weight than any parallelism just by virtue of story consistency. And you are assuming too fast that Kaido is indeed a dragon instead of the user of the fruit, you know that and we've discussed this before.

The only thing that has been truly foreshadowed is that a samurai will open Kaido's scar again. Personally I think it will be Zoro, but I have very, very strong doubts about Oda killing the emperor at the hands of him.

Because I could be the guy who thought Mihawk is YC4 and believe that Zoro won't fight him at all after becoming his student, for example. I see how these things connect, but I also see many other possibilities that render such position about Mihawk potentially irrelevant.

This is a very good point, but Oda went out of his way to say that Kaido is unkillable

So how strong is zoro when 4 scabbards sulong inu denjiro doji and kinemon combined couldnt open the scar ?

How strong do you think I think Zoro is?

It seems you are mistaking me for some one else. You seem to know how strong i think Zoro is. Tell me then.

And no, this is happens to Zoro more than the rest of the strawhats. it was literally a meme at one point that Oda likes nerfing Zoro pre time skip when he fights his final opponet and its supposedly a complaint for Zoro specifically that he dominates too much post time skip.

If this was universal then neither the meme nor the complaints would be spcific to Zoro
