Has Zoro ever actually fought anyone with a 'grudge'? When he fights Ohm in Skypiea, he says that he doesn't fight for reasons like revenge. He's never had a personal fight I think.

Most of Zoro's opponents needed to be defeated for 'the mission', he even has friendly chats with Kaku and Mr 1 after their fights.

That's why my expectations are so high for Zoro in Wano, he has actual emotional attachment to the Wano people along with his connections to Shimotsuki.

Because you don't understand how Pica fights. King Punch was going to use his attack but Zoro stopped him because he knew that wouldn't have defeated Pica because he would have survive the attack and then created a new body so they would have been right back in the same situation. Zoro knows to defeat Pica his golem must be destroyed and once he separated from his golem you have to stop him from being able to create another one by defeating his real body.

Ashura -> range slashes -> golem cut -> Pica leaves -> range slashes again -> end.
If KP was displayed -> golem destroyed -> Pica leaves -> no KP since he needs to charge for 1 hour.
Or if KP was displayed at that moment -> golem destroyed -> Pica leaves -> Zoro cuts him with Ashura with range slashes
Didn't happen.

What does he intend to do then, ask the citizens to evacuate and just dump it there? I think this should be resolved by 998/999 at best.
Before Kaido and BM are inevitably interrupted by Kid and Luffy, they could talk about their time at Rocks or give us some insights on Xebec.

Because this is a whole different level of attack. You as a Zoro fan should know that there are levels to this. Zoro never goes all out at the start of a fight. Before he was trying but he wasn't using all of his power. There's a difference between a regular sword slash from Zoro and what looks like a shishishi sonson.

I've already explained this. Drake was onto him. Where is he going to find the opening when Hybrid X Drake is on his nuts? Zoro literally walked up to Apoo while he was in the middle of fighting X Drake. Yamato walked up and one shot Ulti but couldn't do so just chapters later. Why? Because Ulti was open at the time but wasn't the 2nd time she saw her. The same thing happened 100 different times to Whitebeard in Marineford. Do you think these random Rear Admirals would ever be able to wound Whitebeard normally? Never, but he was either distracted or he had a heart attack. If Zoro runs away then is it even a fight anymore?

what i meant is, zoro could just cover his ears with his hands and outrun Apoo to get into a building where sounds can't get through so he would be able to cover his ears with something safely, once he done he would come back and one shot Apoo just like he did in latest chapter
