Luck Apoo was heal by Marco flames just to be beat again so Oda could show off Drake zoan mode. Or not so luck Apoo. That's funny.

Apoo was on the floor and in the area where Marco used his flames.

Are people really trying to hate on Zoro because Marco evaded a casual swing. If he could not that would be sad. Even Hody could clash with Zoro at close range before he was oneshot.

Marco telling Zoro to stop wasting time messing around with small fry. All the enemies on the ground floor are small fry's to him He knows the truth.

The Marco-Zoro thing was a gag obviously, but the downplay on Apoo is unfair.
Dude took an attack from Kidd, one from Zoro and one from Drake. Kept stalled both Zoro and Drake in CQC for some time (he is a mid-long range fighter). No healing for him, he was drawn dark and shaking, while the others infected/injured were clean (also Marco healing him would have made 0 sense).
Oda made all of them look cool: showed that Apoo is a SN at the end of the day, not a jobber, but Zoro and Drake were just too much for him and gave them a team win (with the objective of making Drake an ally).
Imo both Drake and Zoro defeat Apoo 1v1, but it is a difficult fight and Oda made sure to make it clear, it's just that easy

Automatically thinks Kata will also lose or has poor coo than fuji/sanji coz luffy sucks at something

Katakuri has better fs and CoO mastery than Luffy till now
Sanji has better CoO (sensory) than luffy while luffy can see the future.

And still no matchup for the Supernovas. Great job creating them and pretending that they are supposed to be rivals and competitors to Luffy and Zoro.

I hope that we won't have another annoying flashback with Ace, Oden was already too present and annoying so there was no use into pretending like Ace was that important for Wano either.

Yeah the supernova matchups are hella confusing so far but based on how well oda treated apoo i got high hopes tbh

He was knocked out. The first then he did when he got up was went after the antidote. If he wasn't knocked out he would have went after the antidote because getting that will keep him alive.

Marco used his flames that regeneration not burn on the floor where the infected people where he was among them. So it was by accident. As we can see it engulfed a huge area and alot of them. Not just a few people like some claim in the spoiler theead. The infected area is the part of the body that continues to burn from the flames not the none infected area.

Otherwise it's a very decent set up chapter for the crew. Zoro flying to the roof hype. Who's Who vs Winbe hype. Franky vs Sasaki hype. And Sanji about to get turned into a pet hype.

Heard @HopOnTheHype went into the coma after waiting for Franky vs Holdem.

Apoo tanking Zoro's attack just shows how strong he is. I can see that Oda is going with the narrative that all the supernovas are strong and there is no significant gap between them.

If you think about it, Apoo is clearly on Kidd's level. They have been shown as rivals since the timeskip. Kidd fought him in several occasions and we havent seen Kidd defeating Apoo yet. His endurance is pretty amazing, he has a hax devil fruit.

The only supernovas who were hyped and overestimated by the fandom are the auction house trio due to their bounties and panel time. Its not the readers' fault. Oda also hyped them along with Drake and Hawkins =>

I think Oda realized his mistake and took every opportunity since then to hype other supernovas. Uruge was able to beat a sweet commander. Capone planned to assassinate a yonko! Now we can see how strong Apoo is. Great writing from Oda, this would fit the narrative that the worst generation & the strawhats were able to bring down the Rocks.
