It didnt work against non-drugged Hody either. Steroids dont heal you, they just dulled the pain from the cut. More superficial the cut=more pain sensation (engages more nerve endings). But then he overdosed because of the side effects of the drugs themselves, not becuase of healing (drugs dont heal). Hody even said he took the pills because the cut was throbbing (as I said superifical cut). Hody could still restrain Neptune with one hand, ie he was not down at all.
