No, I think a lot of us like her because she doesn’t come as this damsel in distress. Like Rebecca or viola. A character not useless like tashighi in a fight. She comes hancock type character. In others someone who is incredible strong and could fend for herself for change. A character doesn’t have a superiority complex about herself more like a warrior type of personality who idolizes someone to be strong like they are. That’s what like Yamato. There a lot anime characters outside one piece share little bit Yamato personality and possible her lifestyle. She comes as badass female character who hold her own in a fight. Characters such these remind a little Yamato personality
Yamato is not the best but at least she is better than Nami the abusive gold digger cry baby weak and Robin the weird gloomy no personality + the weird Franky's wife.

Chrono, you think the RS adds durability? Sanji talked about the cape shield and that's the only thing that actually adds durability, but the actual suit is just an elastic piece of cloth that itself is durable but doesnn't provide Sanji with durability. Every punch and kick would be felt by Sanji.
As you se here the BMP are talking about the "steel skin", they're not talking about any suit as being any problem when they fire consecutive rounds. It is their metal skin that protects them. The suit doesn't confer any hardness at all. It doesn't provide protection outside of the cape
