I don't think it's meant to be understood that way, someone in the chapter probably says something like "the mythical model of the Uo Uo fruit" in a similar fashion to Nekomamushi describing Jack's power as "the ancient model of the Zou Zou fruit" without mentioning the mammoth (despite being a known power).

Gyarados the Pokémon can fire off hyper beams, lightning attacks and wind attacks, he can also fire water attacks which I’m sure Kaido will be able to do too. Idk man so far it seems to stick.

I have my doubts Oda will be so literal with the tale and give Kaido an actual carp fruit that can turn into a dragon. His fruit is probably just the dragon power from the start and Oda chose to put in the fish family.

I guess Sanji's flashbacks in Whole Cake Island aren't canon since they don't fit in the timeline either. He remembers the crew in the NW, but Sanji and the crew hadn't spend all those times together :/. Gonna tell Oda that the manga isn't canon either.

Also, in the manga Zoro put on his bandana in one chapter but it was off in the other chapter. Guess I'm gonna have the delete one of the chapters as non-canon. :/.

Also in the manga Zoro broke Kamazous scythe clean in half. But it's whole in the next chapter. Rengoku Onigiri is now now-canon since apparently small insosnsteincies in time line = non-canon.
