I personally don't and in my opinion, 95% of the fandom too doesn't think that Mihawk is stronger than Roger and Whitebeard. Their portrayal in the story is much higher than of Mihawk. So if you take that into consideration then no, that simple correlation of yours doesn't work. Also, if Zoro makes his blade black in Wano itself, will you say that he has become stronger than prime Roger and WB himself? lmao.

With the end panel im sure we getting a god valley flashback for next week. The way how Oda come up with that is similar as Ace flashback start with Yamato talking in the end of chapter 998 of it.
In that case we see more about Rocks and also about the D @Bounty
I can understand that people rather want see Zoro vs Kaido then King or Queen. Both portrayal is really not good, Oda finally need to do something. They aren't getting same shine as Katakuri get and more people don't see them as threat.

The chance of a black blade is not high and that's merely because whether or not Mihawk was Roger level all seems to suggest that Mihawk had CoA above even Roger's level in that the second seemed to had failed to permanently blacken his sword.
I don't see Zoro attaining that level of CoA just that soon but probably in a couple of arcs in my opinion.

The new generation is indeed something that most fan base are ignoring but they gona take out the big fish now. In this arc we got name such as Kid,Law,Beg(which is not in Wano),Kavendish(not in Wano),Luffy and Marco taking Zoro to the roof.
Small thing: Ace said that Kid,Law and the other 2 arent on his leve, meaning they arent at all on Luffy level.
I am pretty sure Zoro can rival without any problem Kid,Law.

Zoro finishes King in a multiple hour fight and joins the Kaido fight too eventually replicating and surpassing Oden's feat.
This way Zoro doesn't have to take the defeat Kaido is going to eventually give Luffy and the others.

2- Kaido is all about flashy things, flashy death, and so on.... having a statue of him that's symbolic of is status and importance being broken and that brat LEAVING the territory without facing consequences is an insult to him
3- It was STATED that Kaido got a looot angry at the time.... so it's a fact not a headcanon when I tell you that Kaido might bring that shit up saying "I still owe you a beating for what your brother did to my statue" and then he proceeds to insult Ace's death...
It's not something out of reach to happen
