One Piece Episode 1001 - A Risky Invitation! A Plot to Eliminate Queen

Reliving this in the anime just reminds me why Drake could be so interesting for the story's future direction. Smoker, Drake, Fujitora, Koby, Greenbull and Garp will probably lead the new "good" marines after Luffy overthrows Imu.
Luffy's short Gear 4th sequence was beautifully animated. Need more of that on a weekly basis. Here's the link if you don't watch the anime.
Koby fangirling over Luffy is in a weird spot between wholesome and restraining order worthy lol
Slow burn episode, but worked fine with the mystery buildup and payoff.
Just feel sorry for the manga onlys still theorizing about the "1% man"

HAAAAAAA?! cliffhanger at the end
a very pleasant episode..
-Ulti's and Pay's VA's are amazing at what they do.. Ulti turning out to be a very likable character.. especially the part where they retort to King after he told then to shut up shitty brats lmao that was nice.
-Zoro and Jimbe coming in clean with cut and the animation for X caliber and King gun was just amazing..
-idk why whenever Coby said "Amazing" for a frame for Drake to ponder upon it was just hilarious for some reason.. prolly how he sounded abruptly.
-Hawkin's nonchalance is dope.. i like how the animators and VA's put effort in retaining the characters or idiosyncrasies of the characters.
-Queen sounded like Kizaru for some reason ironically as he already has his imitative lasers again Job well done with VA.
- WW seems like a menace which is good for his confrontation with jimbe.
- Drake's get away was clean tho it didn't make sense for a Zoan mf to whine at a gun shot when sanji forgot a bullet in arm casually and he isn't even known for his durability .. so you see the anime's inconsistencies again.
-the previous point is mitigated by the fact that Drake used his hybrid to walk out of the grenade explosion to mitigate the affect of the explosion over him.. that was nice.
-King and Queen interactions are neat and very enjoyable.

trust me, I had conversation with Toei staff, and they said they will be making two pages into episode, after that only one panel will be animated into episode 
This episode adapted more than expected in handling 12 pages, which is on the higher end of adapted page count.
Last episode adapted 10 pages.
