the compositing ruined a ton of details and intentions yen had in mind for the scene.

It's a little unfortunate that some of the details got lost with the strong compositing and use of auras, but regardless i hope you can enjoy it. It was very tough to do this amount in such a short time period and i also blame myself for not making it even better.

the photography department. They add blur/auras/shadows/lenseflares/light sources all that stuff. They add what the director tells them. But how well those things are executed depends on the people in the photography department. And this week, they executed it absolutely horrendously

He has. But in the industry it's not allowed to post your original Layout/Key Animation (The original animation drawn without color etc. applied). For One Piece, usually the official twitter account posts it. Otherwise it's a No-Go to post/leak it yourself since you did the work under contract for the company so it's their decision if they want to use it for promotional purposes or not

as you said their is a good gap between the 2, just think yamato combo attack with luffy both using advcoc did less damage than this asura (with 30 broken bones) and no advcoc
