shitty animation and poor adaptation of a great chapter. lets hope they don't fuck up the next 12 chapters as badly as they did this one.

removes impact of Kaidou's blows and size differential by omitting panels from 1037 for no reason.

poor depiction speedblitz when Luffy uses G2 to outmaneuver Kaidou.
Luffy dodges the boro breath in the manga, but gets hit by it randomly here.
filler of weak hits from Kaidou that Luffy is blocking in g2 rather than dodging.

No blood on Luffy or Kaidou, and don't claim censorship, they have blood all over Izo in the preview.

Oda's low quality zoomed out shots of the Gorosei don't work the same on an a5 bit of manga paper vs a 1080p television, have some self respect animation directors.

Adding shots of the "gomu gomu no mi" is unnecessary also.

this episode makes it is obvious, that Luffy's DF is related to Zoo , i think Luffy's DF can enable Gigantification and altering the lineage factor so basically Luffy can grant wishes more or less. the giants are basically normal people, whose lineage factor was altered by Joyboy , maybe even Fishmen as well . and Zoo was just a normal elephant. Luffy's DF is heaven defying and Vegapunk is gonna tell Luffy about this usage. Usopp always wanted to be a giant , Luffy is gonna grant his wish for sure lol :D

I think 1042 is best of Luffy vs Kaido. It was peak fight chapter.

This coloring is so incredible, it gives me a more imposing feeling compared to the light blue, and it stays a little more faithful to the original color of hybrid Kaidou.

My god in heaven, look at the size of this Kaido? Knocked out Luffy with an attack, even though Luffy coated himself with COC, WTF, this amount of lightning symbolizes the extreme and highest release of HAOSHOKU, being yellow, black and red and even blue with purple, Kaidou has all types of COC .:myman:
