one things for sure, the animes doing a better job at Wano. I mean, just look at this episode. It may have been dragged out but things started and things ended. The confrontation was wrapped up before we cut away.

Oda didn't do that.

Page One was wrapped up before Sanji left. Oda didn't do that.

We see Nami and Shinobu leave after striking down Orochi. Oda didn't do that.

Power scaling aside, it's good that the anime is actually finishing scenes rather than just dropping them or having characters teleport all over the place.

Yup. And let's remember that Oda told Toei that they will take care of what Oda couldn't include in the manga because he's rushed some of the stuff in the manga and now Toei add more fillers so that the anime wouldn't feel left out.

Or he could just flesh it out. It's what? 2 chapters worth of additional content that the whole arc needs to be smooth. The manga is the manga and the anime is the anime. Both are meant to be full meals. Whether some small detail changes like Zeff's leg is different from a conflict resolving by just ending and a conflict resolving by reaching a satisfying on screen climax
