First time i even seen toei do two previews for a episode they how you know it a 10/10

I mean they had a trailer for Sanji vs Luffy which was also a double episode special with an ending and 6 eye catchers. There was also a trailer for Germa 66 morphing

They really hype the episode and are proud to reveal it on sunday, im hyped up to see more of the war, which was kinda rushed in the manga..

Yea sad oda couldnt do it epic like this just imagine how that chapter woulda been if no offpanel guarantee less people will have a problem with oden losing by a distraction

Didn't like the episode, but that's mainly due to Oden's inexplainable PIS (though the reduced animation quality and repeated sequences don't help).

Well the episodes before were high budget so it seemed like a downward slide to me.
They reused a 1s dance clip of Oden from behind about 5 times, and the bad guys bursting into sakura petals looked really cheap.

This was definitely not a down grade. I'd say this is still easily one of the prettiest and best animated episodes of the flash back. Its not quite as well animated as 966's action scenes, but I think its far better in general.

The reuse of Oden dancing was kind of a thematic directorial decision that popped up throughout the episode as opposed to just "cheap reuse".

I think the sakura petal stuff was nice.

I would still say this is probably one of if not the best episode of the flashback thus far in terms of direction.

Until next episode lol. Next episode looks insane.
