Well Advanced CoA Luffy is much stronger than DR Sabo and yet I don't see him sparring on equal foot with an admiral yet give him a good fight at best

Some people did. So, it's nice to have Oda shows the difference here.
People simply wanted to put Sabo on that level so that Luffy stays behind in a big gap compared to Sabo.

They do not know that Oda specifically killed Ace, and reintroduced another brother specifically to make Luffy close to this new brother in strength and surpass him faster and in a more logical way than how it would have happened with Ace.

I think most put Sabo at Low Tier, while Admirals are mid Top tiers.

Anyway i didn't got how did Oda show a diff here? It were two Admirals they were facing, and we didn't see what happened.

I think Diff would be clear post Wano if Luffy delivers the final blow on Kaidou.
