General & Others One Piece should have a databook of powers/skills and stats like Naruto?

Bankai in Bleach doesn't mean much, Aizen's Shikai is better than practically all bankai... Aizen one of the strongest swords in the manga, has Reiatsu above all other captains, second only to the old Yama and is a genius in every area, like swordmanship, Kidou and Hadou...

Aizen is at the top of every category that exists in Bleach
Why is Aizen so strong? Never explained.
He just is.
And you consider this good?

Kishimoto gave up on stats for the 4th data book and they’re rarely used in Naruto debates.

As for supplementary info on techniques and world building? Yup! I’d love to see the hyperbole in these technique descriptions.

“Parasite strikes with unrivaled speed and controls the target absolutely! Even an enemy becomes a slave to Doflamingo!”
The Gom gom can stretch to 1000 gom goms, but the Gura Gura as a power of 2000 guras!

Lol if the databooks were to end up like Naruto’s, then we better off without them.

how difficult is it to understand that skills are on another level as a character? it's not something that affects the PS. now CoC, which makes a shit character jump levels in a few minutes, is bullshit.
So a character being just the strongest of the universe without reason is okay for you.
But having a characteristic that makes you even with other characters is not.
Aizen is leagues above anyone else.
CoC is showed in plenty of characters.

Naruto databooks 1, 2 and 3 are very good... but the last one that came out is literally a piece of shit made to sell, there's nothing useful about it.

If the character is certified as strong, I don't see a problem... now if the character is getting beat up and takes something out of his ass, like CoC and leveling up, it's complete garbage.

CoC is literally armouring + conqueror together. Not hard to imagine them coming together. If you think that is an asspull, what is the ending of bleach where the strongest can beat god because god powers don't work without any reason?

Such hyperbole of this level does not exist in One Piece's pre-ts databooks. Not even the Goro Goro no Mi for you to have an idea, had hyperbole phrases like speed of light and incomparable power.

At least not in the Yellow databook I have on hand.

Yeah would be cool if Oda actually explained shit instead of having us keep arguing about some dumb shit. He barely puts any effort in explaining things, good thing Haki is such a simple power system.

Yes but there's no point. The databook could state that "so and so is this and his/her power is this, so therefore they're more stronger than him/her/them", and you'll get some OPtard say some shit like "but he/she parallels with this person so no. :kayneshrug:

He is strong just for the sake of being strong? Then it's not a good storytelling, but a lazy storytelling instead. Even more disappointing, Aizen the king of hype transformed 100 times only to get oneshot by Mugetsu. I'm sorry, even Luffy vs Kaidou dragging redundant show is much better arc climax than that storytelling-wise since they have their build up-climax and ideological clash of world vision, much better imo. Bleach wasted every Aizen transformation just in a single shot of Ichigo preaching while Kubo inking the whole page black in Mugetsu oneshot scene. It's not much of a storytelling and arc climax, if at all.

About powers, at least Kaidou told us the reason for Luffy's powerup (haki blooms in extreme situations) (when your body and mind can finally reach-harness the full potential of a specific fruit, that is devil fruit awakening) so it's more relatable, reasonable from that aspect.
