Yeah even if he does flip, hes going too far here. Oda should have just made him a sociopath or more hesistant than he is here but still loyal to the WG and Marines for some reason. We desperately need to know more about him but given how close he is to Akainu, that 1 Admiral has already defected and betrayed the Marines and WG, the other is doing the same from within it too, a "Sabo-teur" even, the WG and Marines can't afford to lose anymore Admirals especially as they had to recruit Fuji and Green Bull from god knows where to be Admirals instead too.
Its very disappointing but it is what it is. Oda loves ruining agendas/theories and the like, so its just business as usual for him.
I wish we could have a new female member of the SHs, a logia user, a giant, another non-human SH but those aren't gonna happen for sure now especially. Oda can't even handle the current SHs by far and if Kizaru did join, Oda would just butcher him badly too and Oda would have to write so much nonsense to keep Kizaru out of the way like hes doing with Jinbei and dumb him down, nerf him.
Its like that one meme about the boss character becoming much weaker/a joke when you unlock them:
When Akainus turn comes FINALLY to fight and have the spotlight, Kizaru will act his Zoro/Right hand or "wing" and I guess Green Bull will be his Sanji, his "left wing" or w/e lmao.

Its very weird in this context but I do kinda understand what Oda was going for and implying here, a father will die shielding his daughter from harm but if they both get cut up as would happen here, then they will "become four pieces" ergh.
But my main issue is with how they're talking about the bodies would "make four" as they get sliced up on top of each other, its so idk sadistic? Grim? But shit was like that 300 years ago especially ofc, so not really surprising tbf.
And I'm sure that kind of shit happens in countries where warfare is still rampant too ofc, where death and killing are still commonplace and thus they are "desensitised to it" and end up making extremely fucked up jokes or observations about the most horrific of things. Its like how ive heard surgeons, morticians, police, firemen and anyone in medical or emergency services and the like can have very gallows humour due to their jobs. Soldiers and such too naturally.
