The sheath of Brook's sword is exactly as thick as the grip, resulting in a seamless transition between sheath and grip. Same for Fujitora's blade. Same for Katana in general, with only the Tsuba sticking out.

In Aramaki's case, the blade is much thinner than the Tsuka/Grip, which is indicative of the sword being unsheathed. Further reinforced by the fact that the blade has a hamon pattern on the blade and pierces Aramaki's pants.

Saying it's a sheath is cope.

Because as the blade gets smaller towards the end, Oda doesn't pay as much attention to detail. So you are just going to ignore the most prominent part of his blade has a hamon pattern?
Im sure
Its not a cope
Gb s blade might have a sheat like brook s
The pattern ended
His sword is thin and the sheath is thin to

It doesn’t look like Brook‘s at all.

A sword sheath is always around the same size as the sword hilt, just adjusted to the length of the blade, but the width is around the same. The reason being that during travel knights and swordsmen needed to balance the weight. A sword sheath is also meant to protect the wielder from their own weapon. It cannot ever be as small as you‘re saying as it doesn’t serve that purpose in that case. Not to mention, if that was indeed a sheath then the pants wouldn’t be torn like this. There would be a bigger hole or he‘d be wearing a belt. Another thing is, a sword sheath has a blunt end. While here it has a pointy and sharp end.

Please, this is just a blade, my guy.

Aramaki having a BB definitely confirms that the delusion that CoC turns a blade black is just nonsense. Based on his tattoo it's very likely that the requirement to forging one is something else.

Zoro lost a women when he was a kid. Ryokugyu surely has a tragic romantic past which caused him to stop eating and Mihawk has a habit of always being alone. He doesn't trust anyone but let a woman stay by his side for two years and cared enough to send her off before danger arrived.

The person that predicted this the last couple days is probably right.
Mihawk: "every blade can become a black blade like mine. No alcohol for you until you mastered that feat"
Zoro post TS: drinks alcohol

Is the type of Haki that makes objects hard while blackening them the key to permanently making objects hard and blackened?
